Common Ground BIG GIVE DAY

Common Ground BIG GIVE DAY

God has given us a bold vision—a place where our church and our community can gather, connect, and encounter His love. Our Common Ground campaign isn’t just about improving an outdoor space; it’s about creating a lasting invitation—a space that welcomes, nurtures, and fosters life-changing moments for generations to come.

Sunday, March 23rd is our BIG GIVE DAY!

We are asking every member of our faith community who believes in our call to be “in the city, for the city” to dig deep and give generously. We have the unique opportunity to create a common space where hundreds of thousands of people walk, eat, and play each year in the heart of Carytown. We have an incredibly valuable piece of property that we want to give back, with love, to the city by creating an outdoor space that everyone can enjoy.

Will you join us in creating a space that shows our community the love of Jesus? Then GIVE NOW:

(Be sure to select “Common Ground Campaign” from the dropdown menu before you check out!)

Deck the Halls

Are you a sucker for Christmas music? Do you LOVE the time of year when you get to pull down all the holiday decor, string up garland, and trim the tree? Does your spouse adamantly oppose decorating for Christmas until after Thanksgiving but you just need to get those wiggles out?

Stick around on Sunday, November 24 after church to help us Deck the Halls as we decorate our beautiful space at 2810: a community gathering place for the holidays. Help us put together our 10ft Christmas tree, string garland along the banisters, and hang wreaths from every available surface. We will also be prepping our Advent Christmas ornaments as a gift for anyone participating in this year's Advent offering.

Men's Retreat: Rooted

Men: Join us in the foothills of Shenandoah on a 100-acre farm for some rest, relaxation, and recreation as we talk about being Rooted in Christ. We will be 12 minutes from several trails in Shenandoah National Park, plus our location has a pool table, ping pong tables, an indoor basketball court, and loads of inspiring scenery and wildlife.

You are welcome to join us on-site as early as 4pm on Thursday, November 7 to get the most out of your weekend away. The retreat programming will officially begin at 7PM on Friday and we will wrap up at 2PM on Sunday. We hope you will join us for the entire weekend, and we are happy to help make that happen. If you need help with childcare, pet sitting, or volunteer replacement, please email topher@area10church.com.

The cost for the weekend to camp onsite in your own tent is $100. The cost of the retreat to stay overnight in the lodge is $185. The cost includes accomodations, activities, and food. Meals covered include Friday dinner, all meals Saturday, and breakfast and lunch on Sunday.
