On Sunday, November 24th, we’re doing something a bit different than our typical Sunday morning services. Join us anytime between 9am-Noon as we head to 2810: a community gathering place for an Advent Experience like no other. We are celebrating the start of the Advent season (which officially begins the following Sunday on December 1st) by welcoming you into our space to walk through what this year’s Advent at Area 10 is all about.

Details: Enter through the front doors at 2810 W. Cary Street into the Common Room, where we will orient you to the space and give you instructions. Kids will be given a clipboard of activities and coloring pages to enhance the experience in an age-appropriate way. Then you will make you way through Studios 1, 2, and 3 to learn about what the Advent season means for us this year at Area 10 Faith Community. Then make your way back to the Depot for a time of worship and advent songs. Lastly, you can make your way out to the courtyard where we will have hot cocoa and cookies, and where you can pick up your Advent Devotional booklets.

IMPORTANT! Please note: There will be NO services at the Byrd Theatre. Please make your way directly to 2810 W. Cary Street to enjoy the Advent Experience.
