HYGGE PARTY

Hygge is a word in Danish and Norwegian that describes a cozy, contented mood evoked by comfort and conviviality. This gathering would be celebrating things cozy! Wear your cozy sweaters and bring a cozy blanket and a good book or craft to work on on Sunday, February 28th from 4-7pm. We'll have plenty of hot drinks, candles, puzzles, games, snuggly cats, and cozy conversations.

WOMEN’S BRUCH/HIKE

Ladies can choose to join us for just brunch, just the hike, or both! We'll gather for brunch after church on Sunday, March 1 at New York Deli, followed by a hike of the North Bank - Buttermilk trail. If you're not having brunch with us, just meet at the Pump House parking lot at 1:15pm for the 6-mile round trip hike. This is a moderate hike over rocky/muddy terrain, and will not be suitable for young kids.

SOUP EXCHANGE

Enjoy a warm bowl of soup, conversation, and board games on Friday, March 6 at 6:30pm at 2810: a community gathering place. Attendee's are invited to bring a soup to share (6-8 servings) that can be home-made, store-bought, or from your favorite restaurant!

CHOOSE A LENTEN PATHWAY: 40 DAYS OF FASTING

The season of Lent as a tool to shake things up in our spiritual lives and challenge ourselves in deeper, richer ways. Lent is a traditional 40 day season leading up to Easter that faith communities around the world participate in together. This year, the lenten season runs from February 18th until April 2nd.

To collectively prepare our hearts and minds for Easter, we are encouraging each member of our faith community to choose a Lenten Pathway.
